Les Arcs - Activities
Les Arcs is a giant natural playground, whether you want an action packed week of adrenaline and excitement or a week relaxing in stunning surroundings, Les Arcs could be the answer. The majority of the activities in Les Arcs centre around the outdoors and although there are an array of locally organised adrenaline fuelled activities you can just as easily enjoy the resort at a leisurely pace.
Please note that the list below is just a taster of what is available, and full up to date details of all available activities can be found on individual resort websites.
Hiking and Walking
Whatever your idea of walking in the mountains is, Les Arcs can offer you something. From short rambles to multi-day hikes in the Vanoise National Park, the surrounding area has it all. It is worth buying a pedestrian pass to take advantage of the lift system and enjoy the awe-inspiring views that you can’t fully appreciate at resort level.
The Mountain Guides office can offer advice and can help arrange guided expeditions.
Mountain biking
Fans of gravity assisted riding are in for a treat with plenty of lift accessed downhill runs from 2,700m to resort level. There is also a good selection of thigh-burning cross country loops and back country trails, which may require the help of a local guide to benefit fully.

White Water Rafting
