Morzine and Les Gets are two of the prettiest, most traditional resorts in the French Alps. They offer authentic Savoyard Charm and grant access to one of the biggest lift linked areas in the world. The area is a mecca for cyclists from all over Europe, but there is a lot more to the area than mountain biking, and Les Gets in particular, with it’s ‘Famille Plus’ label, is a great family holiday destination. Mountain biking

Les Portes du Soleil is a veritable feast of mountain biking, straddling two countries and taking in 13 seperate villages.

In brief:

• Tracks of all grades for all disciplines and abilities, 650KM throughout the whole of Les Portes du Soleil # Lifts operating all summer – 3 at Les Gets and 24 throughout the whole Portes du Soleil area
• Colour coded tracks to match ski slope degrees of difficulty
• The Passportes Kit: To ride on the Passportes du Soleil tracks all summer. For a daily rate of €20, the Kit includes the Portes du Soleil pass, the MTB tracks map, the registration plate, the Road book and a surprise gift.

Adventure Park

Open from the 6th June 2009, you can play on four different circuits of increasing difficulty however much you want to push your limits. Climbing and Via ferrata

There are activities organised for beginners and experienced climbers alike, on cliffs, blocks and artificial walls. High mountain climbs are also available with qualified, experienced guides. Archery

The Archery field is located behind the Maison des Gets. It is open everyday except Saturdays, from 10.30am-12pm and 2.30pm-7pm. Prices €9-10 for 1 hour, €28 for 5 x 1 hour sessions or 10 x 1/2 hour sessions.

Paragliding
