The French Alps are often hailed, and rightly so, as one of the best mountain bike playgrounds in the world!
From beginners to seasoned racers there are signed and well cut trails for riders of all standards, with enough variety to keep everyone grinning from ear to ear all holiday long.
All our resorts offer lift accessed tracks but, for the steel legged amongst you, there are hundreds of kilometres of cross country riding to access amongst beautiful scenery and mesmerising backdrops.

Our favourite mountain bike destination is the world famous Portes du Soleil, and where better to base yourself than the wonderful resort of Morzine!
Over the past number of years the area has become a mecca for cyclists the world over and rightly so – almost 700km of mountain bike trails accessed by 24 bike adapted ski lifts, 10 world class downhill tracks and 4 bike parks, what more could you want?!
There is only one accommodation choice for the ultimate riding holiday - Residence Aiglon situated just 300m from the Super Morzine lift and about 5mins ride to the Pleney lift.  Once you’re finished on the mountain, relax on the fantastic south facing terrace and take in the evening sunshine.
The residence is equipped with an outdoor bike wash and basic workshop facilities in the basement to make dealing with those inevitable mechanical woes that little bit easier.
